The weather has been a bit... nutty. Not that there are nuts falling from the sky but there has certainly been a lot of rain. My mom, who came with high hopes of getting some lovely Australian tan, is very dissapointed. There is no sun to bathe in, so all we do is ... shop. Well, OK, maybe it's not all we do but we certainly have been supporting Australian economy. On the news, the other day, they said that this is the most bizzare weather Australia has had for a long time, if not ever.

Instead of the usual heat and short tropical storms, it has been raining for the last week. In fact, my British Neil is feeling right at home. The cool difference is that it is still very warm and the strong wind is really nice - it brings awesome big waves in the ocean.
