(Image from Hostess with the Mostess)

is how we used to colour eggs when I was a little girl. I remember thinking then that it's a bit boring, I wanted bright colours in pinks and purples but there was no such thing (until I landed in the USA). Now when I look at it, it looks so sophisticated, natural and really beautiful.

The directions are attached to the post, so if you want to try something new, Hostess with the Mostess has the directions spelled out for you!

This is EXACTLY how we did eggs too for Easter and reading your post, I realize that I felt the same way. Wanted something else when in fact I had the most beautiful, natural dyed eggs:))
