Good old storypeople

A while ago I discovered the storypeople website. Little sentences, some of them are cute, some silly, some really sweet. Once in a while, when I have time, I go there to read them. It's been a while, here are some of my favorite ones:

There are things you do because they feel right & they may make no sense & they may make no money & it may be the real reason we are here: to love each other & to eat each other's cooking & say it was good.

I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.

When I grow up, he said, I want to be just like you, except for the hairs in your ears & nose. That's too gross, he explained.

I once had a garden filled with flowers that grew only on dark thoughts but they need constant attention & one day I decided I had better things to do.

I have looked down the long days of our lives together, she said & in all directions, there is no future without love
